There are games that use guns. It is even made into a toy minus the ammunition because kids love them (especially the little boys). There are lots of games involving actual handling of toy guns. A game called paintball uses guns with balls filled with non-toxic paints. It is not just a game of violence but people actually have fun playing this game as they get to know their environment such as the Paintball Air Bunkers and thinking of ways to use the gun. This is a game of thinking and strategizing. A lot of adults and kids play paintball because they are gaining confidence and autonomy in the game. Even ladies nowadays are so in to this. If you look at the playground for paintballs, you can see that it can actually mimic an actual battlefield. Paintball Bunkers are scattered everywhere so you can actually find your target while protecting yourself from the shooters. Most of these bunkers are made for safety so that no one can be harmed throughout the game. One of the evidences that could clearly show that paintball is not a game of violence is that physical contact is even avoided. The referees make sure no one gets into a brawl when the game is heated. You play without fists involved. If you want to win, win using the gun and no monkey business. You can even use the Bunkers for Paintball as barricades. Literally speaking, you can take time to hide on these bunkers to think before you act when the game is on. After all, it's just a game. We have to see through violence to understand the real essence of having this game. It is widely accepted and kids will enjoy playing this. But this is also a game of precaution. That's why when you play this game; you have to have a safety gear on. The paintball can strike anywhere, from your clothes and even to the Bunkers Paintball. So, in every game, if you do not want to get hurt, learn to protect yourself. Violence becomes a figure of speech because paintballs are associated with guns. But the overall appearance of the game, including the mechanics and the gear you need just to play the game, does not promote what we normally see in real life when people carry their guns with them. It is a game of war but there’s nothing to be feared about this game. You just have to see to it that you utilize the paintball bunkers if you are not ready to take your first shot. But I doubt that you will chicken out from this game. It is exhilarating. |
