Paintball is really a great game. I have played it once yet after one round; I kept on coming back for more. I don’t understand why it can be so addictive. That is why I had to experience it for myself. And aside from the fact that you actually get to have fun, there is much suspense and adventure to the game itself.
As you hide behind the paintball accessories, your heart starts to beat. And it will beat faster as you go on with the game. Any moment now an opponent could attack you. Sometimes, you can be blind because you cannot literally see what’s coming. Everyone just knows how to creep and cover themselves up and wait for the right timing. Then you suddenly think and take a deep breath. You have to know what to do and also you have to learn the creeping techniques. As you move to locate an opponent, somebody shoots at you and you get to duck and roll over, stand up quickly and fire away. The first successful shot is not a relief, not until you have them all.
You look at to the left and to the right to be cautious. And once you see a silhouette lurking behind the paintball bunkers, you aim at it and pray you got a hit. But again you duck and search for more. And you just do not stop until you get them all. As you become more certain where your opponents are, you begin to think deeply and find a way until you can gain advantage on their own territory. You work your way through the barricades and once you see another one, you aim again. It is a clear shot and you successful get them. More and more you gain vision on where they are hiding and on what bunkers for paintball they are settled.
You get the Rambo feeling, shooting at them, and one by one taking them down together with your own team. Some of your members get shot but you are standing still. The thought that you have taken down a great number reflects a great pride on your face. And just as you thought you have taken them all, somebody lurks out behind the Paintball Air Bunkers and gives you a good shot on the back. It was not a sign of victory but you kept a smile on your face, because you were the second to the last man standing on the battlefield.
So much for the aim to win but then again it was still fulfilling because you know you had fun. And as you take a look at your surrounding, everything is splattered with paint, from bunkers in paintball to the ground. Not much of a victor, but the game itself was fun. That’s how I felt on my first paintball experience. And you will get a chance to feel and see for yourself, what you can get from paintball. You may win or not, but the real essence of the game is just to have fun and build camaraderie.
