Keeping a Paintball Team in Shape

Like any other sports team, you will need to have a strict regimen for your paintball team to keep the players in shape, both physically and mentally. The game is a demanding one, and no less than top physical conditioning is a vital need for any paintball team to hope to win in the contests in which they participate.

The run forward in a big rush and the dive on the ground to seek cover behind the Bunkers for Paintball, are quite demanding on any player. Next, the sudden spring up from the prone position to rush again to the next super paintball bunker and obstacle; - these actions are so fast in the game, which could tire out easily an unprepared athlete. Prior top conditioning is therefore necessary, as extra exertions might complicate matters especially for adult players unused to the powerful exertions expected of paintball players.

Since the game of paintball is similar to the movements of US Army infantrymen on the assault towards an objective and capturing that objective in the shortest time possible, the pressure on the players’ adrenaline is extreme and in short bursts. This is something that could leave a player very exhausted and fogged out at the end of the game.

The rush forward past the Paintball Bunkers and other obstacles is so demanding of one’s strength and stamina, that a less-conditioned player may not even be able to complete the paintball course. Paintball players who slacken their pace towards the ending where the Paintball Air Bunkers block their path are likely to lose the game. They get careless due to extreme tiredness and become easy targets for the opponents.

Imaginative paintball coaches, who naturally do not want to lose their games, therefore require several miles of road runs to build up the endurance of their players in tackling the series of Bunkers in Paintball the team has to negotiate on the paintball grounds. The endurance runs follow a long series of calisthenics and body stretching exercises in the early mornings, all designed to make the athletes’ bodies ready for the fast movements to outmaneuver, outshoot, and win over the opposing team.

The coaches could appear heartless as they continue to demand more miles and more rounds around the athletic oval from the already panting and seemingly, breathless athletes trying to comply with the many rounds specified. However, the coaches know that their players have to endure the long runs, and the athletes themselves understand the need for the sacrifice, as they all want to be the best paintball team in the tournaments.

The later phases of the morning’s exercises may be the actual walk through and run through of the many Coleman Paintball and obstacles in the paintball field itself. At this stage many of the lesser conditioned athletes may just go through the drill with eyes half closed, and damning under their breaths the Paintball Accessories that they try to knock down vainly with their tired fists as they pass by them.
